WOW..THANKSGIVING WEEKEND SOO THANKFUL...SOO FUN!!! Saturday, 9-7:30 Pingpong tournament ya..so I missed fellowship..:( SUNDAY: Uncle Man Wai preached on thanksgiving using the story from Luke 17: 11-19 Ten Healed of Leprosy ten men called out at a distance to Jesus and said "Master, have pity on us"
Jesus told them to go to the priest and as they walked they were cleansed.
One of them when he saw he was healed came back and praised God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him - he was a Samaritan
Jesus asked, "were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner? Then Jesus said to him. "Rise and go; your faith has made you well" This was the first time he feels more than 1 person WITHOUT even touching them. That's pretty crazy 求 , 聽, 信, 行 - the people with leprosy brought their biggest problems to Christ. Someone who has leprosy is like an outcast. They are sent out to live alone with other leproers. soo sad.. - It was a problem concerning their LIFE..the question is ...DO WE as Christians Do that???? wow..that's a challenge for us all.. THEY ASKED - 求 then..They listened (聽)and acted it out, they had faith(信) and followed. They exprienced it by walking it out. (行) Now..the question is.. WHAT's the Difference between the 1 who came back and the other 9?? He asked: full of worries
then gave THANKS: with joy and satisfaction They first Asked : in a distance
then he THANKED : closed up, down infront of Jesus's FEETS see the transition? IT IS IMPORTANT TO THANKS..WHY?
